Hi Briana, meter base passed inspection on 10/30/2015.  Has the UA & design been sent to the Kang’s yet for signature?  Thx, Dawn

I also called Briana, but she mentioned that she would take one day off on Thursday(11/5/15) and Friday (11/6/15).  But she would finish the design work on Monday (11/9/15).

 

Mechanical phase is almost complete. Get ready for the drywall phase.

Dawn sent us an email regarding the mechanical phase and the drywall phase:

The mechanical phase is almost complete and you will be meeting your previous Project Manager Dennis & your new Project Manager, Vince for your Pre-Drywall Walk on Wed Nov 4th at 8:30am. The next critical phase is the drywall/trim phase.

Drywall & Trim (approximately 30 Business days)

·         Drywall hung, taped and finished

·         Interior Trim

·         Paint Interior

·         Flooring

·         Brickwork (Fireplace, etc.….), Siding, Facia, Soffit completed

·         Kitchen Cabinets and Vanities (37 days to ProHome walk if utilities all completed)

·         Countertops

·         Schedule Cabinet Walk

Close-in/Trim Stage

After the Pre-Drywall Walk is complete, your home will be ready for close-in and trim.  You will see drywall and trim installed as well as flooring and cabinets. 

Once the drywall and trim are underway, we will secure the house by placing temporary locks on all exterior doors.  The NDI Staff and our subcontractors will have keyed access to the house.  If your subcontractor should need access to the house during regular business hours, please contact me to make arrangements. 

By now, your utility installation should be close to completion.  You can expect cabinets to be installed in approximately 30 days and all of your utilities must be functional or your home may be placed on hold.  If you are finishing space in your basement, you will need to have power by this time in order to prevent dampness in building materials.  If power is not now available, your home may be placed on hold.  This also the time to follow up and schedule with your site engineer if you are required by your county to submit certain documents such as a Setback Certification, a Height Certification or a Final Survey.

Please Note:  In order to proceed with the close-in/trim stage, adequate site access will need to be in place.  This means the construction driveway needs to be installed from the street up to the garage door opening with an ample amount of gravel base.

You also have an opportunity to view & select the slab for your granite countertops. We request this because each lot can look different within certain granite selections. This is not mandatory but we find that most customers like to take advantage of this opportunity.  Please contact A&S Sales at 301-898-7400 within the next two weeks to schedule an appointment or to let A&S know that you are waiving your opportunity to view your granite.
